Cylvie is a Partner of NARA Law with nearly 30 years of distinguished experience. She is a leading legal advisor of the firm in Energy Transition & Renewable Energy, trusted by top-tier clients across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Her client roster includes some of the world’s most prominent corporations.

Cylvie holds a law degree from the University of Indonesia and an LL.M. degree from New York University. She is also registered as a Capital Market Legal Consultant (Konsultan Hukum Pasar Modal) from the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Before joining NARA Law, Cylvie practiced at the reputable law firm Mochtar Karuwin Komar during its cooperation with Clifford Chance LLP, as well as at Hiswara Bunjamin Tandjung (HBT) associated with Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF), where she gained extensive international exposure and experience advising global clients on sophisticated cross-border mandates.

Cylvie consistently leads cross-functional teams delivering seamless legal solutions across mergers & acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, and complex financing transactions—from straightforward bilateral loans to large-scale project and acquisition financing, whether through conventional or sharia structures. Her work spans diverse industries, including telecommunication, healthcare, manufacturing, infrastructure, real estate, hospitality, logistics, technology, energy, mining, natural resources, renewable energy, and green energy.

She has an impressive track record in high-profile, cross-border matters, including Mitsubishi Corporation’s investment in Indonesia’s largest convenience store chain, GE’s global acquisition involving Abbott’s subsidiaries, and Citigroup’s landmark sale of Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta to a Saudi royal holding company. In the mining sector, she has advised Glencore and PT Vale Indonesia on multi-billion-dollar acquisitions and major project financings, managing due diligence, regulatory compliance, and transaction structuring with precision.

Her expertise also extends to dredging and reclamation projects, where she provides strategic regulatory guidance and transactional support for complex land development and coastal infrastructure initiatives.

Cylvie’s profound practical knowledge in capital markets further strengthens her capability to advise on intricate banking, financial services, securities, and capital market regulations. She frequently represents leading international financial institutions—including Axis Bank Dubai, LaFarge S.A., Hongkong Shanghai Bank Corporation, Nordea Bank AB (publ), DnB NOR Bank ASA, Singapore Branch, ING Bank N.V., Singapore Branch, Deutsche Securities, BNP Paribas, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Standard Chartered Bank, and United Overseas Bank Limited—in multi-million-dollar secured lending, debt restructuring, and capital markets transactions.
