Mahdi is an Associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property and TMT Practice Group, with a strong focus on software compliance and enforcement. He plays a key role in advising the firm’s global institutional clients, including Autodesk, Trimble, and Dassault Systèmes, on a broad spectrum of software license compliance and intellectual property infringement matters. His practice also extends to IP litigation and enforcement, as well as commercial transactions and regulatory advisory concerning trademarks and copyright.

In addition to his intellectual property work, Mahdi is experienced in commercial dispute resolution. He has advised one of Thailand’s largest banks in a cross-border dispute involving corporate governance and regulatory breaches, and has represented a group of Singapore-based investors in the winding-up of their Indonesian financial services portfolio company. Mahdi is also a certified liquidator and has been actively involved in the liquidation process of a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending company in Indonesia, contributing to both the legal and regulatory aspects of the process.
